Salisbury Cathedral 750th Anniversary Conference

A conference to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the dedication of Salisbury Cathedral was held from 26 to 28 March 2008 in Salisbury & South Wilts Museum.

The conference focussed on the building’s architecture and archaeology as well as its liturgy and music. Speakers included Professors Nick Sandon, Nigel Morgan, John Harper, and Dr Roger Bowers.

Vespers, Procession and Compline for the Wednesday of Easter Week was celebrated with chant and ceremonial according to the Use of Salisbury.
